Split Zone Group Description

Overview

Multiple split zones can be defined as a split zone group. If a group is selected as split zone, then all split zones in the group will take effect.

Note:
A split zone can belong to only one group.

Adding Method

Note:

• Split zone groups are not supported for domains covered by the Free plan. If you need to use this feature, please upgrade your DNS plan first.
• For more information on how many split zone groups can be configured for different DNS plans, please see Split Zone Groups.

1. Log in to the DNSPod console and enter the My Domains page.
2. Select the domain for which you need to configure a split zone group to enter the domain management page.
3. Click the Split Zone Groups tab and click Add Split Zone Group as shown below:
   
4. Enter the required information in the Add Split Zone Group pop-up window as shown below:

Note:
If you have already configured a split zone group for another domain, you can directly copy it.

• Edit Group Name: enter the group name.
• Select Split Zone: select a split zone as needed.

Using Split Zone Group

1. Log in to the DNSPod console and enter the My Domains page.
2. Check the domain for which you have configured a split zone group to enter the domain management page.
3. Click the Record Management tab and click Add Records.
4. Select the configured split zone group from the split zone drop-down list as shown below:
